Does it work on cloudy days?
It needs direct sunlight to run. On partly cloudy days it will pause and restart on its own as the sun comes through. It's not designed for shaded spots.
How deep does the water need to be?
About 2 inches is enough. The disc floats on top, so it works in shallow birdbaths and deeper ponds alike.
Will the fish in my pond be okay with it?
Yes. The pump is gentle and actually adds oxygen to the water, which helps fish and keeps algae down.
How do I clean it?
Lift the disc out, rinse the gauze filter under a tap, and drop it back in. Takes under a minute.
